What is involved in the process of getting a web site?

When you hire Apke Web Services to create a web site for your business the process is simple:

 Planning Your Site

Designing the Pages

You provide us with photos or graphics and we can scan and optimize them for the Web.  We combine these graphics with the layout ideas for easy - to - navigate pages and convert everything  into HTML language that can be read on the Web by your audience.   We can provide you with pages that load quickly, and with custom forms designed to get from your audience the  information you would like. Your pages can quickly be made available for your review on the Internet at a private web address. 

Your "Domain Name"

Your domain name is the address people will use to go directly to your site.   (Your URL) for example:  www.yourname.com.  Apke Computer Services can search the domain name database to see if an address is available and register it for you.  We can usually have your domain name ready to use in less than a week.

Putting your Pages on a "Server"

Once your pages have been completed and finalized they are then set up on a super-fast "host computer" (Server) that makes your pages available 24 hours a day worldwide.   Apke Computer Services handles this task for you, along with setting up your web site mail to be forwarded to your current e-mail address.  We can set up an unlimited number of e-mail address and forwarding, (for example, "info@yourcompany.com" can be sent to one person and "sales@yourcompany.com" can be sent to another.) 

Promoting your Web Site

Because you will be putting your Web Site address on all of your cards, brochures and invoices, some people will find your site by typing your URL (for example: http://www.yourcompany.com) into their browser to get to your web site, but you also want to attract a much wider audience.   Apke Computer Services can register your URL with all the major search engines and directories.  The hidden keywords and the text on your pages provide the search engines with the information they need to send interested parties to view your site.   This is a most important step, bringing people from all over the nation (and the world) to your site.

Checking your E-Mail

Once you have a Web Site - people will send e-mail to your site, (through your custom web site forms, or to your Web Site e-mail addresses).  All that is left for you to do is to check your regular e-mail at least once a day so that you can respond to your messages (or fill orders)  in a timely manner.
